The Regency-era series Bridgerton, based upon the story of eight close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family who look for love and happiness in London high society, took last year by storm.

With the hotly-anticipated season two arriving on our screens imminently, we take a look at the filming locations used throughout the series, from grandiose ball rooms to beautiful outdoor spaces – that you can use as your wedding venue.

Many of the scenes in Bridgerton were filmed at Hatfield House in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, with scenes shot in the West Garden, the Marble Hall and the Library of Hatfield.

This beautiful and stunning wedding venue in Hertfordshire, pitched among elegant and rolling grounds, is suited to every size of wedding. We particularly love The Old Palace, offering complete versatility, specifically designed for medium to large weddings with a minimum of 60 guests required for off-peak months.

Syon Park offers wedding celebrations from from April to mid-October, available for ceremonies, parties and receptions in the majestic Great Hall for 120 guests – or the State Dining Room for civil marriage ceremonies of up to 50 guests.

Post-ceremony drinks in the private Inner Courtyard are framed by white and scented flowers, while the Colonnade overlooks the water meadows. Then, the Great Conservatory is perfect for evening receptions adorned with palm, exotic flowers and trees, while the Crystal Palace can host 150 to 160 seated guests for dinner in a true fairy-tale setting.

Areas of the Duke’s residence were also filmed in Badminton House in Gloucestershire and used for the interior shots of Clyvedon Castle, including the Duke’s parlour and morning rooms.

Badminton House lies in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside and is home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort. It offers a range of spaces, both inside and across the Estate, providing the perfect backdrop for weddings. The family and village church can be used for weddings and blessings and can seat up to 200, while the West Wing’s Drawing Room, Old Hall and Old Kitchen comfortably seat 65.

Leigh Court, a 19th-century historic property 45 minutes outside of Bath, played host to most of the ball scenes in Bridgerton, shot among many of the different rooms.

This exclusive-use wedding venue is perfect for weddings and civil ceremonies. Offering everything from intimate ceremonies in the building’s Great Hall to huge wedding celebrations in a marquee, the historic venue and extensive lawns give you the space to design the wedding of your dreams, with exclusive use for a minimum of 60 guests.

Ranger’s House, London

The exterior of the Bridgerton‘s Grosvenor Square mansion is filmed at Ranger’s House in Greenwich in London.

Run by English Heritage, Ranger’s House is an elegant Georgian villa on the boundary of Greenwich Park and Blackheath which houses The Wernher Collection, a world-class art collection curated by 19th-century businessman Sir Julius Wernher.

Parts of the house and the garden can be hired out for civil weddings and there is a marquee licence for a truly magical Regency-era celebration, whether it’s an indoor or outdoor wedding. The high sash windows, white pillars and portico will wow your guests on arrival while the charming The Walled Garden is ideal venue for drinks receptions.

You may recognise Bath’s Guildhall Banqueting Room as another stage set for the many balls the Bridgerton family attend.

The Banqueting Room is home to an impressive Georgian interior and situated in the heart of Bath; it’s the largest room in the Guildhall and filled with ornate cornicing and spectacular chandeliers to inspire and impress your guests.

It’s the perfect venue for a wedding reception, having hosted notable events for hundreds of years, while next-door Aix-en-Provence is the perfect complement for serving refreshments or welcoming guests.

The more run-down London streets away from the Bridgerton’s Mayfair residence are filmed at Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent – which was also the scene for Simon and Will’s boxing matches.

Never fear, though, this unique wedding venue is a far cry from the ramshackle scenes in the series; it’s home to several elegant buildings and you can even say ‘I do’ aboard the romantic Victorian HMS Gannet for a wedding your guests will remember forever. Choose from a myriad of exclusive ceremony and reception venues including the Commissioner’s House – Britain’s oldest naval building – an elegant Georgian-style house with a choice of stylish rooms to suit all wedding sizes of up to 250 guests.

The surrounding Commissioner’s Garden provides the perfect setting for drinks receptions and photographs and you’ll enjoy exclusive venue use, including a wedding suite for the bridal party to get ready in on the day.

Painshill is licensed to host both civil and partnership ceremonies at their Gothic Temple for up to 75 guests, allowing you to exchange your vows against an incredible backdrop. Then, the Amphitheatre Lawn is exclusively yours for photos and drinks for your wedding, with an included marquee and golf buggy and driver to take you and your partner around the landscape, from the romantic ruins and sparkling Crystal Grotto to picturesque bridges and the beautiful Serpentine Lake.
